You can easily change fonts and colors in your Shopify theme without any coding. Shopify gives built-in design settings where you can add your brand colors, adjust button styles, and change fonts for your entire store in just a few clicks.

Step 1 – Open your theme editor

Go to your Shopify admin and click Online Store > Themes. Next to your active theme, click Edit theme.

Step 2 – Open theme settings

Inside the theme editor, look at the left side panel and click the Settings (⚙️) icon. This is where all global design options are stored.

Step 3 – Change store colors

Click Colors. Here you can control your store’s background, text colors, button colors, borders, and shadows.

You can create multiple color styles called color schemes (up to 21). These schemes help keep your whole website looking clean and consistent.

Step 4 – Edit color scheme values

Click on any color box to choose a new color using the picker or by entering a hex color code (for example: #000000).

You can change:

  • Background colors
  • Text colors
  • Button colors
  • Border and shadow colors

Step 5 – Apply colors to sections

Open any page in the theme editor and click on a section. On the right-side panel, you will see a Color scheme option where you can apply your saved color styles to that section.

Step 6 – Change your store fonts

Go back to Theme settings and click Typography. Here you can choose fonts for your headings and normal text.

Click Change under Headings or Body, select your font, and save.

Step 7 – Adjust font sizes

Use the slider to increase or decrease font size for headings and body text. This helps improve readability on mobile and desktop screens.

Step 8 – Save your changes

Click Save and preview your store to make sure your new fonts and colors look perfect.

Using these settings, you can fully match your Shopify store to your brand style without hiring a developer or writing any code.
