How do I add my business logo and brand colors to Shopify?
Adding your logo and brand colors ensures your store looks professional and consistent across all pages, themes, and apps. This helps customers recognize your brand and builds trust.
Step 1: Access Brand assets
Log in to your Shopify admin. Go to Settings > General. In the Brand assets section, click Manage. Here you can upload logos, set colors, add cover images, slogans, descriptions, and social links.
Step 2: Upload your logos
In the Logos section:
- Add your default logo for your store header and most applications.
- Add a square logo for social media profiles (minimum 512x512px).
- Make sure your logos are PNG or JPEG format and don’t have extra margins.
- Click Save after uploading each logo.
Step 3: Set your brand colors
In the Colors section, click the + sign to add your primary color. You can choose using the color picker or enter a HEX code. Optionally, add secondary and contrasting colors. Click Save when done.
Step 4: Add optional brand elements
- Cover image: Upload a key image for your brand profile (minimum 1920x1080px, PNG or JPEG).
- Slogan: Add a catchy tagline up to 80 characters.
- Description: Add a short brand description, max 150 characters.
- Social links: Add URLs for your social media profiles (Starter plan users only). Others can add links via theme settings.
Step 5: Preview and adjust
After uploading logos and selecting colors, preview your store and check that your branding looks consistent across all pages, apps, and sales channels. Adjust images or colors if necessary.
By setting up your brand assets, logos, and colors in Shopify, you create a professional, consistent, and recognizable store that helps customers trust your business and improves the overall shopping experience.
