INDUSTRY FOCUS

Deep expertise across industries

We don’t parachute in and learn on the job. Each sector below represents stores we’ve built, fixed, or migrated — with the complexities that come with them.

Fashion

Fashion moves fast — new drops, seasonal campaigns, and trend cycles that don’t wait. We help brands keep up: automated product launches, size and variant logic that doesn’t break at scale, and mobile-first experiences built for shoppers who decide in seconds.

Automotive

Still have questions?

We answer the most common questions about building, fixing, migrating, and scaling eCommerce stores—so you can move forward with clarity.

What eCommerce development services do you offer?

StageBit covers four core areas: new store builds, performance fixes and UX improvements, platform migrations, and ongoing support retainers. We work across Magento, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce, and headless PWA builds — whichever platform fits your business, not whichever one is easiest for us.

Which platforms do you specialize in for eCommerce development?

Our primary platforms are Magento 2, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, and Shopware 6. We also build on WooCommerce and Laravel for custom needs. We hold Adobe Magento certifications in-house and are an official Shopware Extension Partner — so you're getting specialists, not generalists.

Is your team Magento certified?

Yes. StageBit's CEO is Adobe Magento certified, and we have certified Magento developers on the team. Most agencies learn Magento on your project. We don't — we've been deep in the ecosystem for years and our certifications reflect that. When you bring us in for a Magento build or migration, you're getting people who know the platform from the ground up.

Are you a certified Shopware partner?

Yes. StageBit is an official Shopware Extension Partner and is ranked among the top Shopware development agencies on Clutch. We work with Shopware 6 end-to-end — including migrations from Magento 1 and WooCommerce, Flow Builder customisation, headless setups, and extension development. It's not a side offering; it's a core part of what we do.

How much does it cost to build an eCommerce store?

It depends on the platform, scope, and integrations involved. A focused Shopify build typically starts from $8,000–$15,000. A Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce project with custom functionality starts from $25,000 and scales with complexity. We scope every engagement individually — book a call and we'll give you a realistic estimate based on what you're actually building, not a generic bracket.

How long does a build or migration take?

A Shopify store typically takes 4–8 weeks. Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce builds run 8–16 weeks depending on custom requirements. Platform migrations — Magento 1 to 2, or Magento to Shopware — usually take 10–20 weeks when done properly with SEO-safe redirects, data validation, and launch-day testing baked in. Rushing timelines almost always creates hidden costs later.

When does it make sense to migrate from Magento to Shopware?

Shopware 6 is worth considering if you're on Magento 1 (end-of-life), need native multi-currency and multilingual support, or want a more modern developer experience. It also handles complex B2B pricing rules well out of the box. We migrated Macrovet.nl from Magento 1 to Shopware 6 — zero downtime, 100% data preserved, 90+ Lighthouse scores on launch day. It's not always the right move, but when it is, we know how to execute it cleanly.

Do you offer SEO-safe eCommerce migration services?

Yes. Every migration includes a pre-launch SEO audit, full redirect mapping, canonical tag setup, structured data preservation, and post-launch traffic validation. We treat organic traffic continuity as a hard requirement — not something to revisit after go-live. Losing rankings during a replatform is avoidable when the migration is planned properly from the start.

My store is slow and losing sales — can you fix that?

Yes — and it usually doesn't require a full rebuild. We audit checkout friction, Core Web Vitals, server response time, render-blocking scripts, image delivery, and caching config (Varnish, Redis). On Magento, switching to Hyvä themes alone can cut frontend bundle size by 70–80%. We've delivered 42%+ conversion rate lifts for clients like Crate & Barrel's Middle East franchise. If you have traffic but low conversions, the problem is almost always findable and fixable.

We've worked with agencies before and it went badly. What's different here?

We're a specialist eCommerce agency — not a generalist studio that takes every project. Engagements are led by senior developers, not handed off after the proposal. You get a named contact throughout, a same-day reply commitment, and a clear written scope before any code is written. You can also read our actual Clutch reviews before deciding — we don't curate what's shown.

Do you work with brands outside the UK and US?

Yes. Our clients are based across the US, UK, Canada, UAE, Netherlands, Germany, and Australia. We work asynchronously across timezones with a same-day reply commitment regardless of location. Our team is remote-first and built specifically for international delivery — timezone differences have never been a blocker on a well-structured project.

Do you offer ongoing support and maintenance?

Yes. Monthly support retainers cover bug fixes, security patches, performance monitoring, and smaller feature development. Retainer clients get prioritised response times and a predictable monthly cost instead of ad-hoc invoices. Most clients who work with us on a project move onto retainer afterwards — it's a natural next step when the relationship is working.
